TVOC-2 Arc Guard System is an arc protection relay, which is used to reduce arc faults and protect personnel and equipment. As the core unit of the system, the arc monitor can detect the light emitted when the arc is generated, and send an electrical signal to the nearby circuit breaker through the fast IGBT contact within 1 millisecond to cut off the power supply and extinguish the arc. The monitor is equipped with 10 detector inputs, and can selectively trip up to three circuit breakers through the zone when necessary. Up to two expansion units can be connected to expand the number of light detectors to 30, and an HMI man-machine interface can be installed outside the door. The detector has a variety of lengths to choose from to adapt to the complete switchgear design. The power supply voltage is 100 to 250V DC or 100 to 240V AC 50/60Hz. Accessories include current induction unit, optical cable, cable tie, etc.
