GE VMIVME-7486 VMIC VME PCB board
GE VMIVME-7486 is a 100% PC/AT compatible VMEbus single-board computer (SBC), which was produced by the original GE Fanuc/VMIC and later taken over by Abaco Systems. It is not a simple PCB board, but a 6U VME processor module with integrated computing platform functions, which can be used as the core controller of an industrial control system.

Core specification
Processor options: Intel Celeron 650 MHz (low power version), Pentium III 700 MHz, or earlier Motorola MPC860 80 MHz.
Memory: 1 GB SDRAM at most (512 MB in some data), and 16 MB DRAM in the earlier version.
Bus interface: VMEbus(A16/A24/A32), which supports master/slave mode and integrates an interrupt processor and system controller.
I/O and expansion
Serial port: 2 RS-232C (configurable as RS-422/485). Parallel port: 1 Centronics parallel port.
Network: Some batches are equipped with two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interfaces (RJ-45).
Expansion slot: 1 PMC(PCI Mezzanine Card) expansion slot, which can be equipped with a special I/O card.
Storage interface: Built-in IDE and floppy disk controller support DOM (Electronic Disk) startup.
Functional characteristics
PC/AT is fully compatible: it can directly run DOS and Windows operating systems, which is convenient for running traditional control programs. Byte exchange hardware: three-way byte exchange is provided, which is compatible with Little-Endian and Big-Endian interfaces and simplifies the integration of heterogeneous systems.
Wide temperature design: some models support a working temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C, which is suitable for harsh industrial environments.
System controller: Built-in system controller function, which can undertake the management responsibility of the VME chassis.
