GE/VMIC VMIVME-3122 is a high-performance 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) board, which is used for scanning and digitizing multi-channel analog signals in VMEbus system.
Main functional characteristics Automatic scanning and digitization
Analog inputs are scanned and digitized in sequence, and digital values are stored in a dual-port data buffer, which can be accessed from the VME bus at any time. The channel block size can be adjusted to 1, 8, 16, 32, or 64 channels.
Multiple working modes Supports automatic scanning, data burst, and external synchronization mode. The timing data burst is controlled by the interval timer, which can provide a repetition or single burst interval of up to 687 seconds.
Multi-board synchronization Multiple VMIVME-3122 can be connected synchronously, so that up to 16 boards can start each scan at the same time.
Interrupt and mark Supports bus interrupts, which can generate an interrupt request in the middle or at the end of scanning. The data ready flag can be generated at the same time as the interrupt.
Signal conditioning interface The board design can be directly connected to the signal conditioning board series of VMIC, which is used to digitize the output of thermocouples, RTDs (thermal resistance), and strain gauges.
