The Eaton XV400 series is a universal integrated HMI-PLC touch panel platform designed for end-to-end industrial automation. It merges high-performance visualization, flexible PLC logic, and rich multi-protocol communication into a single DIN-mount unit, helping save cabinet space and reduce integration costs by eliminating separate HMI and controller hardware.
Available in two screen sizes: 5.7-inch compact and 8.4-inch large-format TFT displays, the XV400 family supports infrared touch, resistive touch, and stainless steel front variants for standard, dust/washdown, and harsh workshop environments. All models run Windows CE OS, feature onboard Ethernet, CAN, RS232, dual USB ports, and one expansion slot for optional communication modules to support up to 8 simultaneous communication channels.
With upgradeable PLC functionality via software license, built-in web server, FTP, remote client/server and OPC client tools, the XV400 series delivers seamless connectivity to PLCs, SCADA systems and remote monitoring platforms across machinery, packaging, food processing, metalworking and process automation lines, helping improve connected control and monitoring.
