Product Overview
Eaton Crouse-Hinds EBMC series is a heavy-duty explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof combination motor starter enclosure, purpose-built for hazardous industrial environments. Made of corrosion-resistant copper-free cast aluminium, these hinged cover housings integrate motor starters, circuit breakers and motor circuit protectors (MCPs) for full motor control, disconnect and circuit protection in damp, washdown, dusty or explosive-classified sites.

Compatible Internal Devices
Fit NEMA size 0–5 single-speed non-reversing motor starters, plus MCCB frames 100–1000A and 150–400A MCPs (max 800A trip for 1000A frame). Support across-the-line start/stop, reversing and speed control for 3-phase AC motors up to 600VAC.
Factory Custom Options
Rich configurable suffix accessories: control transformers (100/200/300VA), START/STOP/HAND-OFF-AUTO pushbuttons, LED pilot lights, space heaters, auxiliary breaker/starter contacts, drain breather kits, epoxy anti-corrosion coating, DSL legend nameplates and programmable relay outputs.
