Woodward 2301A controller 9905 series is applied to the speed of generator set driven by diesel engine, gasoline engine, steam turbine or gas engine.
Degree and load distribution control. These types of engines are collectively referred to as prime movers in this manual.
The controller shell is a metal shell, and the inside is a circuit board. All adjustable potentiometers are on the panel.
The 2301A controller provides two working modes: Isoch. and Droop.
The deadbeat regulation is used for the constant speed control of the prime mover, and its application scope is as follows:
Stand-alone operation orTwo or more prime movers are controlled by the load distribution control system produced by Woodward Governor Company, and work together in isolation.

9905 series 2301A controller has four frequency ranges of speed signal, which are selected by internal dip switch. Can be selected for specific applications.
Suitable working scope:
• 500 ~1500 Hz
• 1000~3000 Hz
• 2000~6000 Hz
• 4000~12000 Hz
The controller has positive phase output type and reverse phase output type; Some are connected with a single actuator, and some can be connected with two actuators for cascade control.

All electronic control equipment has devices sensitive to static electricity, and some devices are particularly prominent. To protect these devices from static electricity
Damage, please take some effective protective measures to eliminate the damage of static electricity to the equipment as far as possible:
Before the maintenance of the controller, the following measures must be taken to ground the human body and remove static electricity.
Metal objects (pipes, countertops, or some equipment) grounded by touching or holding hands.
If the operator's clothing is made of chemical fiber, pay special attention to discharging human static electricity before touching the controller. If possible, try to
Wearing cotton overalls, this fabric is not as easy to produce and store too much static load as chemical fiber.
Do not remove the printed circuit board in the controller unless it is particularly necessary. If the printing plate is removed, please note:
Do not touch any part of the pad except the edge of the printed board.
Do not touch the sensitive components, terminal pins or printed board components on the pad with your hands or sensitive tools.
When the board needs to be replaced, the new board should not be taken out of the antistatic bag in a hurry. After the old board is removed, it should be put into the bag for new board immediately.
Keep all plastics, vinyl, polystyrene (unless it is antistatic) and other materials away from the printed circuit board in the controller. Because these materials are easy to generate static electricity.
These materials include: plastic or styrofoam drinking cups and cup holders, cigarette boxes, cellophane paper, vinyl printed books, folders, bottles or plastic ashtrays, etc.

Before unpacking, please read the instructions on electrostatic prevention in Chapter 2 and be careful. Please check the control carefully after the package is opened.
There is no deformation, scratch, looseness or component damage on the shell of the device. If the above problems occur, please contact the supplier immediately.
power requirement
Power supply required by 2301a controller: low-voltage 20~40 Vdc;; High voltage type 88-132Vac or 90-150 Vdc. If a battery is used to supply power to the controller, a charging device must be equipped to maintain a stable power supply voltage.
Installation position consideration
When selecting the installation location of the controller, please consider the following requirements:
Consider proper ventilation and heat dissipation.
Leave appropriate space for easy operation and maintenance.
Avoid installation near water sources or concentrated soluble substances.
Stay away from high-voltage or high-current cables or equipment that generates electromagnetic interference.
There shall be no violent vibration at the installation position.
The ambient temperature is within the specified range:-40 C ~+85 C.
The controller must not be installed on the engine.
